Things are coming together. Naoji emailed to say he's got tickets for the show in Saitama and Junko insisted that I stay at her place while I'm in Tokyo. Mike and Gabe so far seem open to the idea that I'll need a few days off in late November/early December and I may be able to blend the trip with some work projects in Kawasaki. The outstanding areas are airfare (do I fly standby on Delta or buy a fullfare seat) and what to do with the family while I'm gone. This will especially be a challenge if I stay longer to work. Hmmm...
