All I Need

Radiohead's In Rainbows is a fantastic album. Two tracks especially stand out for me. All I Need and Videotape. What's especially great about All I Need is that the guitar tab is nice and playable, critically important for a novice like me.

Does the "sold out" on the sign mean you didn't get to go, or that you were lucky to get to go?

I love that album. One of the best insights I have read about Radiohead is that they write the music you don't yet know that you want to hear. I haven't convinced Brook of that yet, sadly (for her).

All I Need is the best track on the album. On the first listen, it struck me as a too-tame, ho-hum song. But on the second listen, I found that the anticipation of the climax at around 2:45 made all of the music before it more meaningful.

I'm also partial to Reckoner. Something about the way they recorded the drums...

Wes is a huge Radiohead fan, but alas, I am not. Perhaps it is a male/female thing? Sad for me, I know. I've tried to like them.

Ryan,
The Tower isn't far from my house, but I didn't take this picture. Found it on Google Image. I wish I had seen them there. It is a decent venue. Not too big, but big enough to ROCK!

Stine,
Wes is a wise man. It must be a male/female thing though. Janean is with you. Boys night out to the Radiohead show!

I downloaded the "Nude" mix up stems last night and was playing around with them a bit in Garage Band tonight. Amazing! I'm so impressed with the restraint these guys exercise. On their own each stem is so simple, but together they are just beautiful.
